Things can really pick up in a week. From following up with people I met at the Esri UC to meeting with people in NYC, I’ve been learning a lot about how vrban could complement different areas of work. There are a lot of use cases that weren’t on my radar before and some exciting opportunities.

Making sense of email
I gathered 28 email addresses today. I primarily used reddits /r/nyc to promote my publicart.io account. Looking at the google analytics traffic, I think that was the most effective tool. I also used the @publicartfound account to tweet out. I think this may have gotten some good followers too.
I decided to segment the users who joined today, so I can keep track of them. I believe these users are going to be very different from the next 100 and the 100 after that. These are the early adopters (whether they realize it or not).
Talking to Tara today about utilizing a group like this, I decided to not reach out to them individually. Im going to run the newsletter and see what the open rate and elasticity of these users are. I believe this will give me a better picture of what to expect from here on out.
